Terms of Service

Welcome to MilReady. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MilReady mobile application and related services (“Service”) operated by MilReady (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using MilReady, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use MilReady. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@milready.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Free & Premium Services

Free Tier

MilReady offers a free tier that includes:

• 1 PCS move with basic checklist
• 5 career events
• 5 documents with 100MB storage
• 3 family member profiles
• Basic calculators (pay, PT scoring, BAH lookup)

Premium Subscription

MilReady Premium unlocks unlimited access to all features. Premium is available as:

• Monthly: $4.99/month
• Annual: $39.99/year (save 33%)

Premium includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged the applicable fee.

4. Billing & Cancellation

• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, subject to their terms.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law or app store policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload documents containing malware, viruses, or harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Share classified or operationally sensitive military information through the app.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to MilReady, including documents, career data, and personal information. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide you the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than delivering the Service to you.

7. AI-Powered Features

MilReady uses AI to scan and extract data from uploaded documents (Premium feature). While we strive for accuracy, AI-extracted data may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted information. AI features are provided “as is” and should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth for official military or legal matters.

8. Calculators & Information Disclaimer

MilReady provides calculators and tools for estimating military pay, BAH, DITY/PPM move costs, VA disability ratings, and other military-related calculations. These tools are for informational and estimation purposes only and should not be considered official military, financial, legal, or medical advice.

Calculations are based on publicly available data and may not reflect your exact situation. Always verify important information with your chain of command, finance office, VA representative, or other appropriate official sources.

9. Intellectual Property

The MilReady app, including its design, code, features, logo, and branding, is the intellectual property of MilReady and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Military branch logos and insignia are the property of their respective branches and the U.S. Department of Defense. Their use in MilReady is for identification purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MilReady and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, missed deadlines, incorrect calculations, or decisions made based on information provided by the app.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MilReady from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of MilReady after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Disclaimer

MilReady is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, any branch of the U.S. military, or the Department of Veterans Affairs. All military-related data, pay tables, and regulations referenced in the app are sourced from publicly available information.
